An Introduction to Livestock Depopulation | February 22nd, 2023 at 12 pm MST

We are very excited to announce our next webinar training. This webinar is the first of a 4-part series on Livestock Depopulation to help you understand what many farmers are dealing with in the province right now, and that is livestock depopulation.

The relationship between farmers and their livestock is not simple or static. For farmers and farming communities, herds of cattle or flocks of sheep, chickens and turkeys are not only a source of income but an ongoing part of the lives of farmers and their families.

This webinar training gives an overview of Livestock Depopulation, why it happens, and the current state of Depopulation in Alberta and Western Canada.

We will also be looking at the mental health impacts of the current and ongoing research. There will also be time for a Q+A at the end of the training.

This training is designed for registered mental health professionals.
